Stepan Sinitsa
Violin, Viola, Beginners Piano Theory Teacher
Stepan has had years of private lessons, teaching experience, and at the Sacramento State University, he participated in the String Project, which had the goal to prepare musicians for their future teaching carriers. He strives to have good communicative relationships with his students. His teaching method revolves around building a solid foundation of technique, development of the right posture, and effective practicing. All of these are key components in becoming a good musician. He teaches theory, ear training, sight reading, and prepares students for the ABRSM Royal test and the CM test. Stepan’s students participate in festivals, orchestras, and recitals, and he helps them prepare for such events. Overall, he prioritizes his students and their pursuit of music.
Students can always contact him with questions or concerns. He always makes sure to give a level that students can be comfortable with, all while also growing within it. He teaches at a pace which is doable, yet challenging to allow progress. As a student you can expect a well-developed concept of music theory, different genres, and advanced musical techniques.
